Will personal training work for me if I am a beginner or already experienced?

Programmes are planned to meet the experience and goals of each individual person, whether you have never exercised before or are looking to build on your foundations.

What equipment and clothing do I need?

You will need trainers and sports leggings or shorts, a t-shirt or sports top/vest, a water bottle and a towel.

What if I have an illness, injury or health issue?

You will complete a health and fitness questionnaire and any issues will be discussed at your consultation. 
Programmes and nutritional guidance will be adapted to suit you.

Where will sessions take place?

Sessions will take place at your own home, in your garden, accessible outdoor space, gym (if you are a member) or other location of choice.

Online clients who have 'live' sessions can carry out sessions wherever they wish, such as home or hotel.

What happens at a consultation?

At your consultation Sammy will discuss your goals and personal situation to enable a personalised and realistic plan to be created.
You will complete a health questionnaire (Any issues will be discussed), fitness and physical measurements will be taken and you will discuss your diet and nutrition.
Following this, Sammy will put together a full programme to be implemented.

How much guidance and support will I get?

Sammy will be able to provide support and guidance and answer any queries via email, text or phone at anytime.

Will a programme still work for me if I travel a lot?

Yes, of course. Programmes can be planned for you whatever your situation.
Online training sessions can be carried and/or programmes devised to work for those frequently away from home.
Nutritional plans and advice are devised to suit your personal situation

I have a busy family life, can a training and diet plan be incorpoarted into this?

Yes - absolutely! 

Sammy's primary aim is to make fitness and health achievable for all. Programmes are specifically tailored to work for you and your situation. 

Exercise sessions and nutritional guidance will be planned so that they can be incorporated into family life.

I have a baby and no childcare, will personal training still be possible?

Yes, Sammy's programmes will be planned to fit in with your lifestyle. Sessions can include your little one which also makes them enjoyable for both or you and a great bonding opportunity.

I am over the age of 60, will personal training and nutritional advice really benefit me?

As we get older, our muscle mass and overall strength decreases at an alarming rate. It is incredibly important to maintain strength, muscle mass and fitness to ensure that we can be as active as possible in day to day life.
